MiniMax released the open weights for M3.1 Flash, following the model's API launch earlier the same week. The official Hugging Face model card describes a 428B-total / 23B-active mixture-of-experts model that is natively multimodal (text, image and video input) with a 1M-token context window, sparse attention, quantization-aware training and DSpark speculative decoding. Together AI offers hosted inference from day one. Card benchmarks include DeepSWE v1.1 73.7, OSWorld 2.0 61.7, CyberGym 82.2 and BankerToolBench 76.2.
